yes... that is why I am so shocked. I swear it was early June last year but, unless I am going crazy, I definately heard some on the way home this evening. Not as loud as (for example) August time, but there was definately that annoying noise coming from some of the greenery

yeah, I have a feeling I was just tired and going crazy... I mentioned it to the guys at work and they looked at me as if my head had exploded

Ya, they are early this year, Last week I told my wife that they started making noise as I was walking to go train, and she was suprised. Yay cant wait to see the shedding of them! lol.
Kind of off topic, they dont really bug me on the noise, its this stupid bird at 3 a.m who likes to make a KA KU sound everyday -.-

I like the sound Cicada's make. I find it kind of relaxing Im glad they are here.
