I've never been to Japan, but this stood out for me. I was always under the impression that it was the other way around. The Japanese go out of their ways to not come across doing anything, that'd cause embarrassment for their home or the company or their country, etc. If I'm wrong, someone who has been there or resided there, please feel free to correct me.

why dont u just tell them theyre wrong in a REASONABLE manor then drop it. if they dont understand explain again NICELY for the last time. every one is entitled to their own oppinion...and please remember if every one agreed in matters we'd live in a jolly world wouldnt we? Why should he be nice when the poster is talking absolute rubbish about Japan in such a matter-of-factly manner? This is public forum and it's silly to think that you can just post something for the whole online community to see and not expect someone to respond. Anubis_Jill's post irritated me a lot as well, especially the "They are racist they are sexist, and most of their personalities are very ugly" comment.

I am very nice to people that want advice and need help and speak in reasonable terms. But it is sometimes easier to break down ignorance and borderline racism with a baseball bat than it is with a feather.
