The irony is amazing. Today I was talking to a Japanese who said he was tired of living in Japan, and wished more than anything that he could move to the US or the UK.
Too bad you and he couldn't trade identities for a year or two, I don't doubt that both you and he would feel homesick before long and want to return. It's after 7 pm here now, and I'm looking out my window watching the last of students leaving for home. Yes, it's after 7, and there are still kids at the high school. There are also classes on Saturday and Sunday, how many American students would like to spend as much time in school as Japanese students often do? Don't knock life in America, make the best of it, and be thankful. |

I think it's safe to say that you won't make it in Japan.
However if you want a working holiday you could come here to New Zealand? American's are entitled to such a visa (I'm pretty sure of it though you might want to double check that). All you need is financial support ($NZ6000 which is $US4000) and a ticket. College degrees aren't necessary to get jobs here too. Plus with your ability to speak Mandarin, and New Zealand's recent free trade deal with China and the large Chinese speaking community here you would probably do quite well. |

If you like you can come to England and join my filmmaking crew. We're only student filmmakers in college but we're still working on very ambitious projects. Why are you so eager to move to japan [email protected] |

How can someone who couldn't endure a U.S. college for even 2 years ever expect to succeed in any foreign country where they do not know the language, the culture, or the people? Are you delusional, because that is too stupid to come from someone with even 60 college credits? Get off the chat rooms and entertainment web sites and get a life!
