I would try to see as much as possible, especially the difference between country side and the city in japan cuz I live on the country side in germany so it´ll be interesting to see the difference to japan

Or I would try to hide somewhere to stay some more time xD

I would do it all!! Visit temples, Visit the country side, the city, Do some major shopping, meet some new people, learn more about their culture, Study more Japanese, & OMG I WANNA SEE A CHERRY BLOSSOM 4 REAL (not just in pix) I would also love to see a real life geisha (they're so pretty)

Now idk how long it would take to do all these things but....if it takes longer than 1 month.... who's to stop me from staying!!!

I would enjoy the outdoors. Take in the fresh air with some hiking. And eventually make it into the citylife to soak up all the fresh and interesting culture. Absorb the language because that is what I love most about Japan.

I would love to just go see the beautiful culture, and probably buy some cool clothes, and see the sakura. Random fact-
Sakura=cherry blossoms
Sakuranbo=cherries
Sakura-ni-wa=cherry tree
