I think of my "Harajuku Lovers" pencil that I got at a Sanrio store almost a year ago. It used to be so pretty but the pictures and writing have pretty much all rubbed off

[tried to find a picture online but couldnt]

First learned about Harajuku as a district in Tokyo in my high school Japanese class, but the moment I saw pictures of all those people dressing up in all different kinds of fashions, I keep seeing goth loli girls when that word comes up... >.>;;

ところ の うち に は 東京,下北沢 でしょう! - 09-21-2009, 02:41 AM

When I think of Harajuku, I think of the district, my apartment off in Shimakitazawa, the shopping arena, and my best childhood friend Kimiko. That's what I think of Harajuku.

Just so you don't keep misspelling the location of your apartment, 下北沢 is Shimokitazawa.

Also holy crap at your post count o.O

Oh, and what were you trying to say in Japanese? I don't understand it. It reads like "Within the place, it's Tokyo Shimokitazawa, right?"

Honestly?

Snoopy, coffee and Marc Bolan, in that order. o_o; and that's all I remember about it; having to find a plush snoopy for my sister and being unable to find the shop (and getting more and more grumpy), having a pretty good coffee which gave me a headache, and seeing a chubby japanese boy dressed as Marc Bolan from T-Rex, which was kind of wonderful.

It sounds like a place in Tokyo but who's Gwen Stefani?

It makes me think of a super giant catwalk, along with stores, bands, photographers and the like.

It's the "International 'Japan-fan' Catwalk" all in one XD

Gwen Stefanti spread Harajuku girls or something like that.
