I can see how they'd be useful in a public washroom since it'd facilitate a quick turnover while being fairly clean. However, I'd need a proper sit down toilet for my own residence since that's where I do most of my reading.

all i remmeber was being scared by the train ones! they were really just teh ceramic bit and a hole in the floor of the train
i was scared stuff would fall out of my pockets (i decided to hold on till i got to my station) I managed to avoid using them while i was there; found many western ones on department stores and coffee houses Mum used one thouh and didn'y have any problems one thing i have learnt though is that public toilets don't provide paper / tissues.. we wondered why we were being handed little packets of tissues with advertising on all the time (when is rude to blow your nose in public..) now i know I can see how that style would be more practical for when wearing traditional kimonos; just lift up the skirts... especially when there's alot if layers very true! it's hard enough in a skirt.. we really can't aim -~Moddess ~- ▲ ▲ ▲ |
