'Cause that'd be worth the investment.
No neon lights, but there is a LED display on the control panel, and the control panel beeps when you push the various buttons...

True True. For a girl it is hard to use. I remember the first time I was in China and had no idea how to use it.

Hmm.. see, if you grew up in Japan, the western style toilet will be hard to use for the first time......

Cridgit001, the buttons are labelled and it has a simple pictorial illustration telling you what it does.... 2 of 3 washroom at home have something like this installed, and I am not in Japan

Now, try to imagine a 6 foot and 2 inches tall (187cm), 220 pound (100 kilo) guy perched like a fuc*ing bird on this thing... let me tell you; not fun.

You can see where the feet go, right? Well, I put my feet there and then guess where the waste'll go! That is right... I just can't use em.

Stupid toilets for stupid people. Land of fu*king hobbits...

I don't I've laugh so much in my life.

God, that'd be a pain using that.

I get enough grief from the ones in Turkey. It's just ridiculous. To be ... clean, you have to basically take your pants fully off.

I'll hold it thanks.

Sorry if this sounds aggressive, but I see your view as ridiculously narrow minded.*

Yes, it's inconvenient. Yes, it's uncomfortable.

But un-lady like? What a total bunch of bullshit. When females these days state they can do everything and claim they want to be equal, then they'll have to squat like the rest of us.

No one sees you doing your business, so who can judge it as un-lady like? I think it's time some women fully decide what they want to be. Equal, or ladies.

Not to mention, by using un-lady like, you're using your culture as a means to "justify" what a lady is. Thus, you're insulting all the females in Japan that DO use the toilet.

* = Fuck that. It was meant to sound insulting and aggressive.

LOL!!! In India back in the 80's and 90's all they had were the squat toilets - I remember the looks of horror on my sisters' and my faces when we had to use those bathrooms on vacations in south India hysterical
