getting decent sources of protein in Japan -

Hey guys, in the US i am an amateur MMA fighter, and am continuing to train while I am here in JAPAN.
for training, i need a decent source of protein, and a big one. in the states i just use whey protein, but I am having trouble finding it here. SO especially with weight training and strength and conditioning training oriented protein, does anyone have any good ideas of where to get some in regular foods, or stores in the Nagoya area that may sell whey? |

Actually the cholesterol is only in the yolk. You can consume all the egg white desired without a cholesterol or fat issue. It is a main ingredient in protein shakes, providing more protein than the usual milk base. Its also what was prescribed by a nutritionist for weight gain in my teens.

Foods that are high in high-quality protein are common in the Japanese diet. Especially because of the fish and eggs that are used.
Salmon and tuna are high in this. I heard from a friend of mine that salmon also has the lowest concentration of mercure. So + 1 health powerrrrr! I work out too so I need high-quality proteines too. Fish, meat, eggs, whey and peanut butter suffice. Meat is a bit expensive in Japan, so I heard. |
