For me? Amanohashidate. Of all of the places I have been in Japan, I find it the most relaxing and peaceful, and I try to go back whenever I can. It's amazing in all the seasons.

You live in Singapore and think Japan is expensive??
We have 1000's of Singaporeans visit the resort I work at in Hokkaido who mostly think Japan is cheap, that's why they come here! What exactly are you finding so expensive? Back to thread topic well the best spot is obviously a very subjective thing. We all like different things. Like I wouldn't want to spend anymore time in Tokyo than I absolutely had to, I can't stand the place but of course many people love it. What sort of things do you like or want to see? |

My favourite season up here is the autumn. Nice cool nights, mild days and incredible colour in all the forests with the first dustings of snow on the mountain peaks. Simply amazing. |
