Wink Moving to Japan - 10-16-2007, 03:51 PM

Hey..I want to move to Japan, Tokyo in about six years
What sorta stuff do I have to do here (London, England) before moving over there, like:
Visas (working, living) Good areas in Tokyo etc.\
I'm learning Japanese..just in case you would have liked to point that out

try to g to the JP embassy site on england!
Here in PT its explained the visas things and they have advice and all

There are a lot of threads on this topic, so please read through them.

Basically, you need to give Japan a reason to let you in, so you need to either have a job that will sponsor you or a school that will sponsor you. To get a job you need to be a college graduate, and 99% of the sponsored jobs available are for English teachers.

6 years!?!?!?! getting a little bit ahead of yourself surely lol

A lot can happen in 6 years - you might not feel the same way about moving at that point in time!

PT= Portugal.
Yes go to internet and find the site of the japanese embassy or diplomatic representation on your country like this: Embassy of Japan in the UK, they have informations u may find useful

I Know.(a lot can happen in six years but meh...) I tend to focus on the future...i doubt my feelings may change
