You got my letter today - yay! Next time I'll send a picture and some fun American things for them!
You said their mothers were interested too... maybe they would like a fashion magazine or something along those lines?
I'm so excited!

Hi ARose,
Yes I showed your letter to them today!
and they are also excited, but they told me that it will take a week to
read your letter, because they are also a beginer of English.
I am going to help them next week to start writing back to you.

Yes, the mothers are interested in Fashion (they are late20s and 30s).
Are you interested in Japanese Fashion?if you are,
we will send you something reated to "fashion" thing.
(usually reguer Fashion magazines are thick and heavy and it will cost
us a lot of postage, so we really appreciate if you could send us
those fashion magazines but please be careful with the weight,
don't spend too much money for the postage for us!)

by the way my sister is in fashion business for a long time,
she lives in Tokyo worked for Prada, but now she works for chloe now.
If you have any chance to come to Japan, I will introduce my sis to you.

have a good day!

i am sure people have told you this already, however rice comes with every meal - and that includes breakfast. Cereal isn't so popular. I live with my Japanese in-laws and grandma has fish and rice for breakfast everyday. My mother and father in-law have rice and something. My brother in-law, my husband and myself have bread. Take in mind a loaf of bread here is around 6 pieces. doesn't take long to go.
My mother-in-law cooks some of my meals and even gives rice when serving a meal based on pasta, bread or potato. With 6 people in this house we go through two family sized rice cookers of rice a day.
My husband had bread and rice for lunch. They love their rice. It is really good though.
