Cool Unique looking for the Unique - 09-06-2008, 08:50 PM

I am Wraith Of Illusions, and I am currently the president of my High School's Japanese Culture Club.. I'm looking for friends who would have a great idea or two for what we could do for my club... and I'm looking to broaden my 'pack', I need more friends... Not that the ones I have are bad or anything.. Just looking for more..

Depending on where you live, you could always check Asian movie theaters for a Japanese movie, and as a sort of field trip, go check out the cinema.

Or, have a "field day" with Japanese sports, after proper research I guess, with all the other students.

So long as you don't turn it into another darn anime club, I'm content with coming up with any ideas that would help. I just hate it when that happens.. >.<

Heaven or Hell, Let's Rock!

Like a passing dream on a night in Spring. The mighty fall at last, to be no more than dust before the wind.

actually everything you guys have said is what we're going to do.. and I've saved the club from being solely anime.. We're actually going to attempt a Kabuki Theater this year.. the games sound cool.. We've got a movie field trip coming up... and food tasting will be awesome too if we can work that out.. Thanks guys!!

You guys should sometimes watch dramas in class or read Japanese novels, translated in English, and discuss them. I was about to mention what some people have said already, but it's all cool.

I'm going to start a Japanese culture club soon because we have an anime club, and I want something more than just anime in a club. I've been thinking of all sort of fun stuff like what people have been talking about in this thread...

Thanks for reading!
