Hi ^__^
I just thought I'd start a thread to see if anyone will respond... I live in North London, I'm 15 years old and I'm very interested in Japan, Anime and Manga (plus, various other things!) Unfortunatly, the only friends I have who share those interests with me are all online, and live in other countries or too far away in England to meet up with I'd love to meet someone near my age that i could hang out with! (even tho I'm extremly shy >_<) and maybe even go to the London MCM Expo with! Thanx for reading =] If u want to contact me away from the forum u can add my msn or myspace! Umm I moved to London when I was 8 years old. And yes it's very different!
I had to get used to lots of new words, and pronouncing stuff differently lol. Also the food is different, American foods are more unhealthy I wud say, and the stores are HUGE! haha In America, i lived in a Suburb type of place so it was a big change moving to a big city! The buses are different, there's more cars, the buildings are older, even street crossings are different! lol School is VERY different, but obviously there's similaraties...uh the ppl are different too! I found in Seattle (where I was born) the ppl are more outgoing, more friendly, and more helpful. Not to be offensive to English ppl, but it's kind of true =/ I'm very glad I moved to London tho! I feel like I've seen more of the world, and I've learnt a lot! It's great being here ^_^ ^_^ 日本語がすこしわかります。あなたわ。 (Please correct my Japanese if it's wrong! yeh londons pretty big although ive never been to america, all i know of it is the movies, although i hope to go as part of my filmmaking career. Yeah i guess we pronounce some words differently like tomato for example but im used to that because my old maths teacher was canadian. And watching so many american tv shows i'd probaly recognise american accent better then some british accent

yeh londoners are pretty miserble and other brits as well. Living in a big city and the stress of work would make you like that i guess, but i live in a smaller city and have college only three days a week and three days of something i love doing
