Going to Japan - Summer 2010

Hello all!
I'd love to meet some Japanese people from the Tokyo or Kyoto area. Maybe someone who could help me with which places to visit. Hot spots to eat, shop and party perhaps?

I'd even love to hear from those who aren't necessarilly from Japan, but know their way around Japan and know the customs.

I'd like to get in as much info as possible before I head to Japan this summer.
