kokusaijin, drop the "anata wa". Also, just say "benkyou shimasu ka".

Sorry for irrupting in the post! :P

Like many others, I'm studying the art of the Japanese!

So my questio goes to packet, about "anata wa", If Im not wrong, that means "you", but must be used with precaution, that's right? I mean, it's an informal "you", that can be used for speaking with friends, but, let's say, you have to talk with a police or teacher, what must be used?

I also imagine, that the "anata wa" expresion in the kokusaijin's post was innecesary because its a post reply and the subject (dyasgita) doesn't need to be said again?

Can you confirm me this?
