Greetings to you..... Yes...you're right..... But these nice & great ethics are more REMARKABLE & PROMINENT in the Japanese people than any people in the world! Of course there are many people around the world who have nice ethics & etiquette, but all these are more REMARKABLE & OBVIOUS the Japanese... Small example : Any establishment or office you visit in Japan you will find the people greeting & smiling for you.... Do another people in the world do this??!!!! I don't think so!! only few who do this..... Another example: The Japanese extremely consider the others feeling,If he is a building worker he doesn't make noise for the people, he leaves the restaurants eating table after meals as clean as before eating.....etc Another example: the Japanese have the highest level of punctuality among all the people around the world!, they're the most commited people to the exact time (they don't miss even seconds!)... |

Thank you very much for your kind words! Honestly, I was shocked by some rude post from some people here..... I had never expected that because I had drawn totally a different picture in my mind about this forum & his members....... Some people here before even saying (hello) they began offending & insulting me violently!!!! Thank you again for your kind words......I hope that the next period will be better for me in this huge forum.... Best wishes |

Excuse my interrupting. I liked the above response to the gentleman from Sudan. I actually was shocked that he received such rude responses because he had not posted onto the introductions. This is a young man who is studying medicine. He was not rude to any one on here, so what image will he have now of some members on this site. I do not know the nationality of those who were rather hard on him, but surely good manners would not go amiss. This site has members from many parts of the world and surely all should treat others with kindness and respect. I am old fashioned English woman. I had placed an introduction but never received a welcome on that thread anyway. Please be kind and thoughtful.Babs in UK. |

It is so true-- we should not tar everybody with the same brush-- as each is of course very much an individual.
I fear that even I make that mistake about a country-- and realise that I should not do so. |

PS I have a few Chinese friends and really impressed by them and how hard they work also they are very bright and clever.I have beautiful portraits of some tibetan girls that ZHU GUANG painted. He is a genius.
One thing I admire these chinese friends so much is the way they treat their parents-- with such care and respect. My japanese friend has also influenced me a lot and that is why I have taken an interest in Japanese history and culture. Before I met her I always just thought about the War---!!! but she has helped me understand a lot. I still need to come to Japan, I long to see the mountains and countryside most of all. Their ART history is marvellous and although so difficult I feel they should cling onto their written language also. |
