I'm pretty sure the 'tsu' in that is silent, just a marker to show the 'se' sound is elongated, so it's "sekusu". Other than that I think Jambo is correct in meaning

Hi, does any one know a good way on how to memorise how to read
japanese? Like English grammer rules.

Hey, I haven't been able to get on japan forum lately. I just
wanted to say Knowing the japanese alphabet makes japanese a lot easyer.

The japanese alphabet...
do you call the same letter as what that letter says,
or is there two different ways? like you say A by it self, but say a when
its with another letter.

The kana (hiragana and katakana) wouldn't be considered alphabets as such. I think they are more a list of phonetic syllables used in Japanese writing. Apart from the vowels there are only two "letters" that use the same symbol. N and M use the same symbol ん. All other characters in hiragana, for example, use two or three roman letters to describe them. I hope I didn't complicate things for you!

I guess you can say Ma, Me, Mi, Mo, Mu, Ra, Re, Ri, Ro, Ru, etc.
