Hi, my name is Alex, I am 23 and I live in Quebec, Canada. I am planning a trip to japan early next year and I have begun learning japanese. I'd like to share talk with a japanese person to better learn their ways, culture and over all, have fun!
I speak english and french, I'm on MSN, but if you have a better proposition, feel free! I hope I can make some friends! Have a nice day! |

Well, we mostly understand each other, as long as it does not fall too much into slang / street language. One's slangs or expressions are hard to understand for his cross-atlantic cousins.
And I also think, correct me if I'm wrong, but I noticed that in France for example, english words were more naturally introduced into the vocabulary. Ex.: WCs, McDonald's McFish, etc. Where in Quebec, english words are only used in popular language. |
