You've definitely improved! I really like those two drawings/paintings I'm not much of an image guy so I don't really know what to comment on. I think you know what you need to work on better than me anyway The little girl that's sitting down, I could point out one thing though. The face/head seems a little bit too far away from each other and from the neck. I don't know if it's just me, but it looks like she's a bit of an alien in the shape, or wearing a mask... if you get me? I think it might be because the cheek line you drew there stops suddenly in the middle (probably because of the hair). If you'd look at the right side of her face...

Thank you!
Ah that's cool. I think painting is really relaxing sometimes. I like water colours a lot, it's just nice to sit there and paint with them. Quote:
I totally know what you mean. When I looked at it I thought, eh, why did I do that? But then again, it's actually something I dug up from a while back, so that's probably why I didn't notice at the time. Quote:
I really appreciate all you guys commenting and critiqing my work. I have being go through such a bad art block recently, I was about to just chuck it all in and give up. I'm trying really hard to get back on track now, and nice comments helped. Thanks ~ So anyway, since I'm out of the grey art block of doom, I've done some other new works Misa: Her eyes are not in perspective D: This is something easily fixed, though. L: Admittedly, I didn't spend much time on this, but I think it still looks okay. It's L from Death Note, for my mate Kris. It's my random watercolour lady! I like how she turned out, though. This is my newest anime lady. I would really encourage some advanced critique if you have the time. I want this one to be good. I'm finding the hands difficult to fix and stuff. Thanks! |
