Didn't know this type of basses existed, but you'll have to cut me some slack because I have a very low knowledge when it comes to basses.

i'm putting a humbucker pickup on the bridge to give it more depth and sustain (the regular squier one chokes really bad) and am eventually gonna fit it with a korg kaoss pad like matt bellamy from muse has on his guitars
i'm also toying with the idea of LED lights!
I'm actually curious on how will the Humbucker look like on the bridge, are you going to use a conversition bridge or are you going with a Vibrato tailpiece?

You mean that TV with the cruddy reception? xD
Where would you put it in that Tele's thin body?

You could replace those inlays for some leds or perhaps add leds to the knobs.

I've always wondered what kaos pads actually have to do with music.

Seymor Duncan make a humbucker thats actually the size of the standard single coil so there's no need for any alteration to the bridge or pickup cavity
Seymor Duncan Hotrails
they only used to do this for the bridge but i've just noticed they've released a neck one too so i think i'm gonna get both!
the Kaoss pad is a very big maybe at the moment because they're not cheap but i've measured and they is enough room to fit one just behind the bridge and look something like this

the pad illuminates and by running your finger or guitar pick on it you can control guitar effects or even stage lighting!

The pads are just for show, you can have the same results with pedals.

if i do put one on it will be for show lol! i think i'm gonna stick to my original plan for now and just upgrade the pickups and hardware
and then shove some lights in the thing
i had a go one on one of those mansons a while ago and to be honest the pad made it immensly heavy, and teles aren't exactly light to begin with!
