RKitagawa, that is some work you did. They are great.
Maybe you can help me with some of my work? http://www.japanforum.com/forum/memb...hes-great.html |

Hey Strawberryshinya!
Here it is, finally. Uhm, I just wanted to say first that The fixes I made were very small tweaks really. You did a really good job, and I had a tough time finding any actual "errors" Also, the thing about the heads being too big compared to the body is arguably just style. I know that bigger heads are actually quite common in anime, but for this critique I just wanted to do more anatomically realistic proportions. Biggest problem really was that the poses were too stiff, and I made really minor tweaks to make them look more relaxed I guess. Hope it helps, and good work! PEXSTER!!!
Just finished uploading it now. Did both of those portraits cause they were nice and simple. Thank you for drawing in this style, lol. I'm sooo sick of drawing anime. So, I had a lot of fun doing this one, and spent some extra time to draw more carefully. Let me know if you have any questions. Oh, and everything about pushing the expressions more is of course just my personal opinion. Many of my favorite portraits have really vague/blank expressions, so it's definitely not a problem or anything. It is important to know how to push those expressions though. |
