A Song Of Mine - 07-16-2007, 05:16 AM

This is something i just wrote awhile ago, its a short acoustic song that ill post a link for later.

"Why Stars Never Come Down"

The Stars Are Out To See...
Seeking The Attention They Hope To Meet...
So They Fall Down To This Place...
End Up Sleeping Without Even A Hi.

As Far As I See
This Worlds Just A Painting
With Gentle Strokes
& Things Colored Brightly...

But This Is All We Can See...
To Cover Up What Really Lies Benath...
Which Id Rather Not See...

But As I Grow Older
Things Catch My Eyes...
My Mind Comes To A Holt....

As Far As I Use To See
This World Was Just A Painting
With Gentle Strokes
& Things Colored Brightly
But Thats Before...

& Thats Why Stars Never Come Down...

"So Tonight As I Walk,
The Moon Makes Faces At The Tree's...
It's So Nice To Make Fun Of Everything...
That I Lost And I Miss And I Loved But Never Had...
Im So Happy I Could..."

Aw, that's kinda pretty. I really like the lines:
"As Far As I Use To See
This World Was Just A Painting
With Gentle Strokes
& Things Colored Brightly"

And just to be really nit-picky for a split second, you made a few typos while posting it.

Anyways, over-all, I really liked it. Very well-done.
