I love these names:
Takara (I want to have a girl and name her this) Yukari (same as above) Emi (I have a Japanese friend with this name and it's adorable) Riku (cute guy name) Teruki (another cute guy name) ^.^ I love names, but especially Japanese names because they can have special meanings depending on the kanji used.

Most of there names mean something in their native langue. Koreans, Chinese and Native Americans have similar practices.
For example Boys Taro=first born Jiro=second born Akemi Beauty of dawn Akihiko=Bright Ryuu=Dragon Yuuda=Hero + great Girls. Boys: Shin (most often Shinya, etc.) Nobu Kaoru (which can be a boy or girl's name, I saw) Takeshi Yuu Girls: Fuyuko Ayumi Sayuri (my old manager's name, not Memoirs of a Geisha character  )Emi Tsubasa (one of my students was named this: means "wings")
