My mother and the rest of my family says you have to be friends before you can date, or you don't know anything about the other person, and if you know them well enough, you can always go back to being just friends.

but it doesn't always work that way...sometimes you find out a person you trusted the most, wasn't always gonna be the person you trusted the most. When you don't get the friendship back...it's hard, it hurts...a lot. So I tend to keep outta relationships for that reason. (another reason why she is with him)

who said anything about trust? It's just, the more you know about a person the closer you can be to them, and then you don't really have to flip out about meeting the parents ^_^ but it's easier to go back to being just friends.

Oh! that's horrible!!! well...i have a few friends in the same boat as you. One is really mean to someone who bothers her alot...it's funny because she turns to me to flick him.
