Taking revenge after a breakup is a waste of time and energy. It's living in the past. At some point, after you do enough hurtin, you gotta realize that it's all in the past now and move on with your life. Relationships are too trivial a matter to get hung up on them. I don't understand the people who tell me they feel 'social pressure to be in a relationship'. Relationships are not hard, and breakups are not hard, if you are in the correct state of mind. The thing is, there's so many people in the world, chances are great that there is somebody out there better suited for you than your ex. So try to find that person instead of wasting time on planning revenge. Cuz the bottomline is that nobody benefits from revenge. You can go to jail if you do something too extreme, your ex will most likely want to get back at you and it's a vicious circle. Just let it go and move on. In other words, grow up.

My sediments exactly! When you break up, just walk away. Be grateful it ended early so you couldn't do something disastrous, like get married. As the pirate Bluebeard said, it's a merry life, and a short one.

I did it SATC style.
Told a few friends, and they gossip, it goes around. Now most of my friends don't have a very good impression of him. End of. Oh, and i turned 1/3 of my group against one girl because it was partly her fault. i didn't really intentionally at first, I kinda had something in my eye in the morning and then someone thought i was upset...but i was kinda too busy to correct her, since that frigging eyelash was kinda bugging me. and then they gossiped and it spread and then obviously people thought she was in the wrong, and i didn't want to help her and correct that i wasn't really that upset. "I'm sorry, but i must have given you the impression that I actually care about your opinions"

Though I do understand; in the dorms I used to live in, shit hit the fan when some guy's girl was going around doing who knows what with who knows who. No one knows much of anything, save for there were some bad times. How in the world do people reach 1,000+ posts? Skadoosh.

Why do so many people hate their ex-partners? I'm still good friends with my ex-girlfriend. If you have had strong feelings for them in the past then why would you suddenly hate them, unless they did something major to hurt you (and that isn't always the reason for breakup)?
