In Japan when I went into a small original wooden house jewellery store which was located in a Kansai country area to enquire regarding have a new watch battery installed.

I called out "Sumiimasen" I heard a loud "HAI!" Then an olde geezer walked into the store, and said, "GAIJIN-GAIJIN" flapping his hands to tell me to get out!

It was certainly a rejection which I thought was hilarious

Rejection...Ummm...There was this girl at prom...She was two years older then me. I was in 10th grade, she was in 12th...And I asked her to, y'know, dance. (What you are supposed to do at a DANCE) And she poured her drink on me. I was sad. A year later she had a kid, and was pregnant with another, and dating a drug addict. I have to say though, no matter how bad her life must have been, I still lol'd at her when I saw her. I'm a bad person.

For some, yes. Actually, mine wasn't. It kept us friends. If we had stayed together we would have grown to hated each other.

My worst rejection was when my ex-fiancé decided she was into Latin guys. So now she's dead. Not really.

But whenever I'm placed in a situation where I have do the rejecting I simply say, "I like you, but you're asking more then I'm able give right now."

That ways it communicates, “hey it's nothing the matter with you, I've just got a lot of issues." That usually works, unless you find someone who says, "well, I'm willing to wait for you." That's when you punch them in the gut and run the other way. Not really. Punching girls is very inappropriate.
