Not I. I strictly want an American girlfriend. Foreign relationships cause too many problems. Also, there are usually cultural and language boundaries that usually clash with family on both sides.
Btw, what's so good about a Japanese girlfriend (bf) than you wouldn't find in America? |

I can't do it. Japanese culture is just way too different from mine. There are too many things I don't understand about relationships in Japan culturally. I would be willing to learn, but it would take a long time. On top of that, I'd have to teach him about my culture... too much work.

When I answer yes to all of this and I don't necessairly mean that I'm going to turn down American guys but I find that I want to be open to accepting a relationship with someone from another country becuase the values there are different from where I've grown up and we might end up clicking so to speak rather than butting heads like I would with a guy from the neighborhood because we are too much alike or way too different.
Of course I would be lying (the female I am -sigh) if I didn't say that looks didn't help influence me too in saying yes. Just my thoughts. |
