I remember when i was 13 & i was dating a 15 yr old...it wasnt so much the age difference that would have bothered my mom (i was a 7th grader he was a freshman) it was the fact that he was a different race. & i had to keep that a secret from her...she never really figured it out too...but back then i was a lot sneakier XD

But anyway, i'm now single & maybe its better that way because when you are alone no one can hurt you. I have a whole bunch of things i need to do in my life right about now & a relationship is the last thing on my mind. I have a few crushes here & there (one which is my coworker but he knows that i dont want to date anyone right now) but thats about it.

Hey guys don't get me wrong but, single life is awesome because if I was with someone right now, I would feel guilty for looking at some hot guy and would miss the single life, and when I'm single, I would want to be with someone right now. Maybe because I never had a real boyfriend, the three guys I hooked up with were not so good. When got my first kiss it was to a looser and I was not thinking correctly, that was one of the biggest mistake I made. I made another one but I won't say. But I learn from both, 1. Beer and smoke do not mix when kissing a guy, 2. Think next time and say no. With that said, being single is a gift and a curse. Some times you get singled out by your "taken" friends, But when your out clubbing and such you don't have to worry about your other half waiting up for you. You don't even have to worry about having the wondering eye or cheating. But you have to let the people that you meet, that you plan on being single. Because to some of them if you kiss them, they think oh he/she likes me we are going go out. And they start planning their whole future with you. When it was just a fling.

Now at my age 27 and female, I feel the rush of you have to get married now. My sister who's younger got married last year and now my friend from high school is now engaged. They found the "one" and I didn't and I feel that I'm left behind. There's this club and I'm not in it.

So I have this pressure , People telling me at your age I was all ready married and have 2 kids etc. So where is the "one"? I have not found him yet, but some day I will. It's Funny though, when your single no one flocks to you but when your taken all the boys/girls flock to you and it's like, you're too late! Being single is what you make of it, it could be a blessing or a curse.

I'm single and I'm enjoying it a lot at the moment. I do know for myself, I will not last like this forever though. For all the things I have to do nowadays, I don't really have time to worry about making someone happy. Unless they would understand that, I'll have to stick with having no relationship.

All i can say is if your single like me and you feel the same way then this is a small world and everyone has their own feelings but i am sad without a boyfriend sure i have friends to cheer me up but those feelings will come back and hurt even more then the last time.
