This is a forum dedicated to Japan. There's tons of places for topics concerning the LGBT community and Japan on this forum. An LGBT sub-forum is unnecessary and a waste of space.

Probably not, but it is from well intended and ill considered ideas that many offenses arise to plague the rest of us.

But I also agree that the first consideration is the intent of JF and such a segregation, even if it were desirable, is not warranted for discussions of Japan. Though an "adult" section where we could openly discuss the issues of sexual orientation iin Japanese culture might be helpful.

Discussion of the LGBT community in Japan would warrant an Adult section? Heavens, what a silly idea to have! It would be as useless as a LGBT section.

I don`t know how this was missed before, but this thread is against the rules. These never end well.

2.4 Topics of religion and sexual orientation are not permitted.
